No weapons or ammunitions, only armor? You say signs, shields, water? Nothing illegal in otherwords. So this is not part of a crime being commenced. If you had said it was full of pre-mixed napalm or maltov cocktails or nitroglycerin jugs, I would feel a little bit differently.
I do agree that is is too bad some people decided to simply destroy property instead of actually stand up with their voice. A mob destroying things is criminal, but none of the things you just said were found could be used to facilitate a crime. I.e., no crowbars, or lockpicks, or hammers, etc…
So maybe lay off of it?
You know how polarized this nation is? Your bias is showing, you might want to tuck that away…
And why do people refer to rioting and looting as “peaceful protests”?
Also, ‘you’ say mob rule is scary, then ‘you’ proceed with a group to hunt down the name of somebody who commenced in no unlawful action, neither conspiracy to do so, as can be gleaned from the very flimsy evidence ‘you’ claim to have for “protest supplies”.
I myself would want a shield too, with the cops being so happy to use launched teargas as impact munitions, and shoot into the eyes of protesters with rubber bullets.
Try to see it from a well moderated and broadly encompassing point of view.
Shit is fucked up. The system never changes. Rioters and looters will always be looking for an opportunity and excuse to do those very things.
Next time show me evidence of an actual crime. Otherwise, this does not impress me as an argument…
P.S.:
You know what we really need? More surveillance everywhere that would be able to see through the walls of the moving truck and know exactly what was in there, plus ID everybody involved.
